Sesame crusted bread with cheese and red king crab filling13/08/2015
This recipe is absolutely as scrumptious as it looks. There is something about a well-toasted sesame seed crusted French toast with cheese and red king crab filling that is a wonderful flavour combination. Smoky roasted crunchy seeds and creamy light cheesy filling – this is one of Crabits favourites.
400 grams of The Crabit Red King Crab meat
100 grams parmesan cheese
1 boiled egg
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
6 slices of French toast
Lemon to taste
Chives to taste
Whisk together egg, cheese, mayonnaise and crab meat in a bowl. Add some
lemon juice and chives to taste.
Spread three slices of bread with the mixture and top with the remaining slices.
Brush each side with yolk and sprinkle generously with sesame seeds. Cut the
sandwiches into four.
Toast each side in a frying pan until sesame seeds are lightly browned and
toasted, about 4 minutes per side.
Serves 3-4 and takes one 600g Crabit Red King Crab package.
